East Stroudsburg University is hiring a Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards! Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU’s proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country’s largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun. As the Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards you will need to think creatively and be comfortable overseeing the overall management and administration of the University’s community standards, the student conduct process, and related procedures. You will be an active member of the Campus Life & Inclusive Excellence team and will work closely with the Dean of Student Life. You will thrive in this role if you like combining your interpersonal and procedural analysis experience while ensuring compliance with due process policies in all aspects of the conduct process. The Director will supervise a Coordinator for Student Conduct and an Administrative Assistant. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong working knowledge of student conduct, title IX, case law, and student development. Along with serving as a direct liaison to students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders on student conduct matters. While also handling all cases with compassion and understanding,
Your normal hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You may have to flex your schedule from time to time based on the needs of the business to be a true Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards. When our team shows up for work, they are energized and motivated to succeed - all while being the most crucial piece to keeping the ESU operations humming.
