2026 S.U.R.E. Research Assistants

Position Summary:

S.U.R.E. - Summer Undergraduate Research Experience 2026. Undergraduate student will work closely with a faculty mentor on specified research or creative activity during the summer months.  Students will abide by the faculty-developed research plan and job duties and meet certain requirements.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are dependent on the particular project and may include:

  • Data collection and analysis
  • Literature reviews
  • Laboratory field work
  • Independent research assignments
  • Maintenance of supplies and materials
  • Development of papers, creative works, or other products

Compensation: Rates vary between $10-$12/hourly according to project needs.

Duration: The duration will be no more than 10 weeks beginning no earlier than May 25th and ending no later than August 14th. 

 

Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment/degree verifications.
